Managing Director/Managing Partner Search Firm

This well established and niche search firm is looking to make a senior hire. The firm is part of a larger group and the MD of the search firm is becoming the CEO for the Group and there is looking to replace themselves. Their key markets are F/S for Investment Banks, Challenger Banks and Asset Management firms and the current focus is Risk, Finance, technology and Front Office. They work mainly on a retained basis at the ‘marzipan layer’ of salaries of between £140 - £180k (however have completed many assignments at more senior salary levels too). Your role will be to inherit the existing team, and to assist in developing the company in to additional vertical markets – you will be expected to make some placements as part of your role. You can either come from FS Search, or IT, Supply Chain or Operations recruitment would also be attractive. You DO NOT need to come from search as candidates from a contingent recruitment background will also be considered.
