Description
Established international recruitment business requires a recruitment industry experienced Branch Manager to manage their Shanghai operation. Based in Shanghai, you will be developing business in both the local & greater / mainland China regions across a niche range of professional services sectors.
Managing a small but growing team of Recruitment Consultants and Resourcers your role is to develop the business and take on more staff as the revenue grows in line with a 3 year growth plan.
This role requires nothing less than a coal face, hands-on billing manager to get involved in sales, personally fill higher value / senior roles whilst cascading junior vacancies on to the team.
Your role will also see you involved in training and support staff your staff in all aspects of man-management whilst reporting to the UK board.
You will have control of P&L / budget with some influences of local costs
This is mainly a contingent business but demands a manager who is quality driven with high standards and of good calibre able to sit in front of clients at all levels and able to win retained / search driven mandates if necessary.
With an approach to business of being a localised, boutique style service with high standards yet the balance of a strong international brand, this role will suit a manager with a sense of adventure who wants to work in an emerging market within an entrepreneurial company.

PACKAGE:
A basic salary of up to circa £45k / £50k (in Chinese RNB that’s circa 4888556 RNB / 543173 ) plus additional benefits, commission and bonus and if relocating the company may consider assistance with accommodation.
