The role plays were also very well organized and I found these helped me to experience what a recruitment consultant goes through on a day to day basis. We learnt what qualities are needed to be a recruitment consultant, role plays, interview techniques, questions to ask when recruiting and also interview closing. Getting an insight into the actual dealings of a recruitment consultant and being able to act this out was very useful.

Some of the points covered at the Academy included what a recruitment role covers, dealing with and making key improvements in different situations and ability to deliver a high level of performance. We learnt interview techniques and the role plays taught us how to deal with all different kinds of situations. I found the role plays and group tasks to be particularly helpful.
